Im writing poetry

one of my bucket list goals is to lean in to poetry more and lean into sharing and publishing my work at some point. I think it could maybe be good stuff. I took a poetry class my senior year of undergrad and I think this has been my favorite outlet to write and journal and be free without judgement. 


My current poetry book idea is like diary of a mad black woman but poetry and not at all related to the movie. I can make it all poems of being mad or being upset or all about this one guy. If its more general I can make it a timeline of my life. I can start with the mad i felt with my sister i already have a poem for that. or should I start fresh?

decisions decisions but step one is to just start writing my songbook. My mind on paper scares me but it's 2025, im doing scary shit.
